21 Already?

How quickly time seems to pass. It seems like only yesterday, I found out I was having a baby and today we are celebrating his 21st birthday! I don't feel a day over 18 & yet 21 years have passed by and with them lots of ups and downs.

I am thankful for my son's life. God has blessed us greatly and I pray He continues to guide him as he travels through this thing we call life.

What A SPECIAL Day!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE PRINCESS!

On a day like today back in 1956 a beautiful little girl was born. (No, not me)

She was perfect in every way. (Again...not me, but we're related)

That little girl grew up and became a smart young lady with a smile that could brighten up any room. As time passed she blossomed into a kind, loving woman. That woman is...MY MOTHER!

I am so blessed to be able to call her my Mom. She has dedicated her life to serving the Lord and taking care of her family. Today we celebrate her life and all the wonderful things she has accomplished. Join me in saying a special thank you prayer today for my mom's life!

We are lucky to have you in our family, Mom! And we pray God will continue to bless you for at least 60 more years! There aren't enough words to express how much you mean to us. You are truly a blessing in our life...the glue that holds us together! We love you so much!

The Month of May

Many people say that May is a special month because it brings lots of flowers & warmer weather, but for me, the month of May also brings a very important reminder. It is a time for me to give special thanks for the Mother I've been blessed with. And not because the world celebrates "Mother's Day", but because my Mom was born this month! 

We have so much to be thankful for. Being given the opportunity to be her daughter is one of the greatest blessings I've received. I may not be the perfect daughter (that's my little sister), but I have never been loved by anyone the way I know she loves me. Everything she has sacrificed for her children & grandchildren clearly demonstrates her love for us.

I am thankful for my Mother and I want to wish her a very Happy Birthday & Happy Mother's Day (because you know every day is Mother's Day, right?)!
