My Spring Fling VoxBox from Influenster is here!

And I'm excited to share with you my thoughts on the complimentary products I received for testing purposes.

Here's what was inside my box:

✿ Softlips Cube - $3.49
I absolutely love the lip balm! It has SPF 15 and smells heavenly. My scent is Pomegranate Blueberry which smells fruity-licious, but they also have a Fresh Mint & Vanilla Bean. It definitely leaves my lips feeling soft and hydrated. The packaging is adorable and also seems durable. I'm going to have to get the other 2 scents! *I even created a Softlips Cube 6 second Vine video!

✿ Rimmel London Scandaleyes Retro Glam mascara - $5.99

I've been using the Rimmel mascara for a while now and it's one of my favorites. I love the shape of the brush and how easy it is to apply the mascara. I also really like the thickness of the packaging because it's easy to hold on to. My lashes look thicker, longer and very black! #RetroGlam

✿ NIVEA Skin Firming Hydration Lotion - $2.49 for 2.5 oz/$10.99 for 13.5 oz
It does say that you'll see results in about 2 weeks so I won't really know how much "firming" it can do yet, but I love the scent. And the texture is smooth and not greasy!

✿ Kiss Everlasting French Nails - $6.49
OMG! I'm in love with these nails! They are a snap to apply! Each nail comes with a tab on the tip which makes handling even the smallest nail super easy! The kit includes 28 nails, pink gel glue, mini nail file, and a manicure stick. Everything you need to have a perfect manicure in just a few minutes. The best thing is that they look so natural, no one can tell they aren't my real nails! CLICK HERE to see for yourself! I highly recommend these.

 

✿ Labor Day Movie Peach Pie Car Freshener
I don't think the delicious peach pie freshener is for sale, but the movie is! Starring Kate Winslet & Josh Brolin; it's available now on Blu-ray, DVD & Digital HD for $19.99

Really enjoyed watching it. Even though it seemed a bit slow when it started, the movie turned out to be great! An incredible story! I won't spoil it for you, but I will say that there's a peach pie scene...yummy!


✿ Playtex Sport Fresh Balance -  $3.99 - $4.99
To be honest, I haven't used this specific type of product in a long time, but I have tried other Playtex brand products and I'm happy with them. The first thing I noticed about these, is that because they are "lightly scented", I already like them more. I really enjoy things that smell nice and I love that they have Odor Shield. They are also the perfect size & flexible so that's always a plus! They will definitely continue to protect me while I #PlayOn this summer! @PlaytexSportandGentle

BzzAgent - Coppertone ClearlySheer Sunscreen

Do you wear sunscreen every day?

When I was younger (not that I'm that old, but you know what I mean, right?) I used to sunbathe all the time and wearing sunscreen wasn't something I didn't even think about. Now that I'm just a bit less young, I don't even think about going out in the sun without some type of sunscreen! Oh how age changes us.

I recently received a complimentary BzzAgent campaign kit of Coppertone ClearlySheer sunscreen which I've been trying out to see how well they work. Below are a few of the benefits they list and my thoughts:

• Lightweight formulas feel clean and light, leaving barely a trace on skin

Yes, it's true, from the moment I did a quick test, I saw it immediately blended into my skin without leaving the "white" layer other sunscreens leave!

• Won't clog pores or cause breakouts (clinically tested on acne-prone skin)

So far, so good! Haven't noticed any pores clogging up or any strange breakouts!

• Lotions appropriate for sensitive skin

I don't really consider my skin to be overly sensitive, but thankfully, I have seen no strange reactions.

• Moisturizing formulas help leave skin smooth and soft

The lotion is definitely moisturizing and I haven't seen any dryness after using it.

• Fresh light citrus fragrance with soft floral base notes.

The fresh scent is one of my favorite things and more specifically, the fact that it is not overly "coconuty" or the typical scent most sunscreens have. This is perfect because I can wear it every day!

• Water resistant (80 minutes)

Pretty impressive, right? Specially considering how "light" the consistency is, but I really haven't been able to test this one long enough yet. I will put in an update after I spend a bit more time in the water!

Crowdtap ~ Herbal Essences Body Wash

I've been a member of *Crowdtap for about a year! Wow, time flies!

Last week I received a small sample of the Herbal Essences Body Wash in the scent - "Hello Hydration" and I wanted to share with you what I thought of it. It was a 1.2 oz bottle (pictured below). The bottle and label are very colorful and pretty to look at, so I immediately liked what I saw.


Then I opened the bright colored cap and took a whiff...
Oh my...the scent transported me to an exotic vacation spot in a tropical island! Refreshing...

 It has coconut extract, and what I love about it, is the fact that the coconut scent isn't over powering. I am a coconut lover, don't get me wrong, but sometimes, body wash scents can be "too coconuty" if you know what I mean.

Well, this one is perfect, it has the hint of coconut which is just right. It leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated. The only thing I would change is the consistency of the body wash. It seems a bit too "runny", but other than that I loved everything else.

I did notice that when I added the body wash to my bath sponge and mixed it with water, the scent was even more delicious than just smelling it directly from the bottle.

Needless to say, I had a hard time getting out of the shower!

When I did step out, the entire bathroom was smelling so good! Overall, it was a great experience and I'm glad I got the opportunity to try it out!

Today I am thankful for...

INFLUENSTER!

I know I talk about how awesome being an "Influenster" is all the time, but today I wanted to share with you a few videos so you can see for yourself just how amazing it is! I joined Influenster back in March of 2012 and have been loving it ever since! The program is great and the best thing is that it's absolutely 100% FREE! You can join and take surveys to qualify for different types of "voxboxes". A voxbox is basically a pretty box which is mailed to you (once you qualify & are chosen to receive one) filled with products to test out and give your opinion on. They vary depending on your answers to different surveys.

For example, if you have a dog and you "unlock" the dog owner badge by answering a survey, you will most likely qualify for a voxbox that has a product for dog owners. It is also important to keep your profile updated and your account linked with all your social media so you have a better chance of staying in the loop when they announce new programs and opportunities.

Speaking of which, I recently saw a facebook post by Influenster regarding a VoxBox Video Contest they were having and I, of course, immediately submitted my video entry (see below).

It was a fun extra activity that you weren't required to do, but I decided to participate and guess what? My video was chosen as one of the lucky winners! I was so excited and thankful! My friends, family and other Influensters voted for my entry! I just recently received my prize - a MEGA VOXBOX filled with great products and wanted to share that with you also (see below)!

Keep in mind that all those products were absolutely FREE!
