Today I'm sharing NEW makeup from Revlon sent to me complimentary in an Influenster VoxBox!

Starting with the Revlon PhotoReady Candid Glow Foundation in the Shade 240 Natural Beige which applies so smoothly and looks beautiful on my skin. They also sent me the Revlon Prime Plus which is a lovely primer that leaves a beautiful golden glow on my skin! Finally, the Revlon Skin Lights Bronzer called Sunlit Glow! INFLUENSTER: Let's Go On A Staycation...VoxBox

YAY! for Influenster and their awesome Staycation VoxBox! I'm excited to share the complimentary products they sent me to review and share with you! My passion for all things nail related keeps growing and in this box they sent me the imPRESS press on nails! I've tried these before so I know they work well for me, but since my nails are too long right now, I will save these for when they are super short!

From the brand EvaNYC I received their 10-in-1 hair primer and my hair loved it! It has a nice light scent and didn't leave my hair feeling greasy, just soft and smooth!

I also got to try out a new product from Completely Bare and it's their shaving gel! It smells really fresh and left my skin feeling soft after shaving!

The last item is the Shea Moisture gelee, which I'm looking forward to trying out!

INFLUENSTER New Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Nail Polish

New vs. Old

You might be thinking to yourself...well, I've been wearing Sally Hansen Insta-Dri nail polish for years, so how can this be "new"? That's what I was thinking when I received my complimentary Influenster VoxBox!

The first thing I noticed is the packaging. The new bottles have color-matching caps so it's easy to see what colors you have. This is especially good for those who store their polishes in a drawer since it makes it a lot easier to know what shades you have. The lettering is also slightly different, but not too obvious.

But the other new thing that you can't really see from just looking at them, is that they have a new 3-in-1 formula with built-in base and top coat! So when I tried it out, I only applied the nail polish and it looked really shiny. Since it dries in just 60 seconds, it is a really fast way to get a beautiful manicure!

I found that the formula for both of the shades I received was creamy and smooth. The wide flat brush makes it very easy to apply in just a few strokes. I also really liked that they are so pigmented, you could get away with applying just 1 coat, but I always do two. *The two shades are "Let's Jam" and "Mauve It".

My favorite thing about these polishes has always been how fast they dry! It's perfect for me because I love changing my polish often and don't like to spend too much time waiting for polish to dry! To sum it all up, I really love the formula is awesome and the colors are beautiful!

INFLUENSTER Clairol Professional Liquicolor

As you may have noticed, even though I don't feel particularly old, I've been dealing with pesky grays for quite some time now. So I'm always open to trying out hair color that claims to cover grays. I had the chance to try out a complimentary one (sent to me by Influenster) from Clairol Professional called Liquicolor and I don't want to spoil the surprise, but IT WORKS!

I have had good experience with other products as far as the coverage, but once I start to wash my hair the color washes off and the grays start to show. With this Clairol Professional Liquicolor, though, I have been amazed by it's staying power. I don't wash my hair every day, but like I mentioned, color usually washes out after a few times and as the color fades, the grays start looking funny shades of brown & orange. But I can definitely say I've seen a huge difference with the Clairol Professional Liquicolor.

I received the Shade 3N/83N Medium Neutral Brown. Application was easy, just mix into the convenient dispenser bottle and apply to hair. I will admit that the odor was very strong and I recommend doing this in a well ventilated area.

The color also looked a lot darker once it was on my hair than I expected, but to be honest, I don't really mind because my main concern is keeping those grays away! I also enjoyed using the iThrive Shampoo, Conditioner and Keratin Repair which smell amazing and left my hair soft.

I was extremely happy with my results and I definitely recommend this one.

INFLUENSTER: Clairol Root Touch-Up

I received this Root Touch-Up from Clairol in my Influenster VoxBox at the perfect moment! My roots (and mainly my grays) were showing way too much, but I didn't feel like coloring my long hair again, so I tried this out & if you want to know what I thought of it check it out!

Influenster: Formula X VoxBox #SystemAddict

As a long time Influenster and nail polish lover, I was extremely excited to find out I'd been chosen to receive the Formula X #SystemAddict VoxBox! This system is basically a 4-step process to get a beautiful gel-like manicure at home (no UV light needed)! The voxbox also included an amazing 5 finger nail polish remover from Formula X appropriately named "Delete All". 

Before trying out the nail polish, I had to remove several layers of base coat, nail polish, top coats, etc. from my nails. I've been experimenting with Nail Stamping so the amount of polish on my nails was a bit extreme!

The first thing I loved about Delete All is the important fact that you can remove polish from 5 fingernails at once: major time savings! It worked so quickly I really was amazed. Removing nail polish isn't the most enjoyable part of a manicure for me, so this is a game changer for sure! It retails for $15 so it is a bit on the high end price point for my budget, but honestly, it does work and it is so convenient, I may be adding this one to my ever growing "Wish List"!

Once my nails were clean, (which didn't take long at all), I followed the easy steps to create a gorgeous manicure with so much shine, it looks like I have professional gel nails! The shade I received in my Formula X VoxBox is called "TGIF" (which is really cute, right?). It is a peachy-pinky coral and gave me an instant tan. Every time I look down at my nails, I think of summer vacation!

So, I will finish off by saying THANK YOU to Influenster for yet another amazing VoxBox! I discovered a new product that I already love.

REVIEW: Cutex Nail Polish Remover Pads

I'm starting off with the first product I used from my Influenster Bloom VoxBox! These individually wrapped nail polish remover pads from the brand Cutex are a-m-a-Z-Z-Z-ing! I love wearing nail polish and I am constantly swatching different polishes for my Instagram account so I go through nail polish remover like crazy! I like to use pure acetone because I don't have the patience to rub my nails for a long period of time or to have to continue applying more remover to get the job done.

When I first opened these up, I kept trying to unfold the pad thinking it would be a bigger sheet, but it turns out, it's a small, thick felt-like pad that isn't big at all! It is really saturated with the remover and it has a strong acetone & lemony scent which I enjoyed. Just from holding the pad, it started to remove my polish so I was already impressed.

I swiped my nails and used the same pad to clean off several layers of different types of nail polishes from my 10 finger nails and it actually worked! The nail polish came off and my nails & cuticles didn't look dry, they were actually moisturized.

I love how convenient they are, too! Great to take them with you on the go and have a fresh mani, wherever you are! Check out my demo and see for yourself!

INFLUENSTER: Bloom VoxBox

I've been on a roll lately with Influenster! They have been kind enough to send me a variety of voxboxes filled with free products for me to test out and review. Today I'll be sharing with you my Bloom VoxBox! 

It arrived this afternoon and I was so happy when I opened up my mail box and found it there waiting for me! I'll begin by mentioning that the box itself is super cute and it's my favorite color...PURPLE! Perfect for Spring. They're already off to a good start, right?

I immediately opened it up and discovered exciting items to check out. I was very happy to see brands I know and love, but also to find new brands and products that I had never even heard of before! So let's get started...

As you can probably imagine, the star of this box is the Sinful Colors nail polish in the shade "Teal Midnight". I am a nail polish collector and this is one of my favorite brands. They are inexpensive and great quality. They also have many beautiful shades to choose from and recently, they teamed up with Kylie Jenner to create a few limited time collections. The latest one is the "Denim & Bling". I can't wait to see what they'll come up with next. Follow me on Instagram to see photos of my nail polish swatches!

To go along with the nail polish, I got to try out the Cutex Nail Polish Remover Pads and was I impressed with these! Just one individually wrapped pad completely removed several layers of nail polish from my 10 nails! These are definitely going on my wish list. 

From Sunbelt Bakery, I received a delicious granola bar in the Oats & Honey variety. The neat thing about these is that they are brought to our communities each week so the snacks have a bakery-fresh taste and more importantly no preservatives!

The Not Your Mother's Plump for Joy spray is a deliciously scented thickening hair lifter spray that gives body, shine and volume! My hair is pretty thick, but I'm excited to share it with a friend who loves to try volumizing product for her hair.

Another, well known brand that I've used in the past is Secret, but this time it's the Secret Outlast Xtend deodorant. It smells amazing and I love it!

And to finish off, another brand I had never heard of is Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse with their Multi-Purpose Dry Oil! It is an oil, that when you apply it to your body doesn't leave it greasy or oily. It is absorbed by your skin and has a light floral scent. I'm excited to try it in my hair to see if it makes it moisturized and shiny!

INFLUENSTER: L'Oreal Paris Revitalift VoxBox

I've been super excited from the moment I received the email letting me know that I had been selected to try the L'Oreal Paris Revitalift products from Influenster. And now that I've had the chance to start trying them out, I'm so glad I was chosen because they are pretty amazing. The "secret" ingredient they all contain is hyaluronic acid which is a substance normally produced by the body & it is what gives skin its volume and fullness. Since my skin is a little more "mature" than it used to be, I need all the help I can get adding volume & fullness!

This is what I received in my VoxBox:

• Eye Treatment: Reduce under-eye hollows and sunken shadows.

• Concentrated Serum: Intensive face serum to replenish skin's fullness.

• Day Cream: Replenish skin's fullness, smooth lines & fine wrinkles.

• Night Cream: Recover skin's fullness while sleeping, smooth fine lines & wrinkles.

You can probably tell by watching my unboxing video just how impressed I was with this entire line. The first night I tested them out, I applied the serums first to "treat" my under-eye and my entire face. I love that the eye serum also has caffeine to help reduce the puffiness. The applicators were easy to use and very unique. My skin soaked up the serums & I proceeded to apply the night cream. It had a great texture, soft & smooth, yet creamy. But when I actually laid down to sleep is when I started to notice just how moisturized my skin felt. I was very impressed by the feeling it gave my skin.  

The next morning my skin still felt soft, like velvet...or silk. It was time to try out the day cream. I followed the same routine & applied the serums first, then spent the entire day with a moisturized and smooth face! It was not greasy or oily. It felt amazing.

I've been using them all every day & feel like I'm pampering my skin every time it's time to apply them! I can't wait to see long-term benefits!

REVIEW: SoapBox Coconut Shampoo & Conditioner

You may recall from my unboxing of the Influenster Spice VoxBox I received, that they included a full size bottle of shampoo & conditioner. It is from a brand I had never heard of, "SoapBox" so I was curious to check them out. I learned that they are not your typical brand & here's why...they are doing amazing things to help others in need. First of all, they are a buy 1, give 1 company which means:

"For every product sold, a bar of soap
or a month of clean water is given to
a person in need."

It is easy to see where the purchase you make will make an impact, by going to their site & entering the unique "Hope Code" found on the products you purchase. I entered both of mine and they are being used for the Clean Water projects in Thailand & Cambodia! Pretty neat, right? Another great thing about this company is that they are cruelty-free. Also worth mentioning is that the shampoo & conditioner are sulfate-free, paraben- free & color safe!

Influenster: Apple & Eve Organics VoxBox || Review + Taste Test

Excitement levels are high as we once again join in the fun of another Influenster campaign! Our Apple & Eve Organic VoxBox has arrived & we've already started trying out the juice and sharing our thoughts. For this one, I had to ask my little assistant to join me and share his opinion since the VoxBox is really for him. REVIEW: Maybelline SuperStay #BetterSkinChallenge Foundation

I completed the Maybelline 3 week #BetterSkinChallenge & wanted to share my results with you as promised in a previous blog post! I've been sharing small updates throughout the process on my Instagram, but now that I've reached the end of the 3 weeks, I can give you guys a more detailed review.

Bottom Line: I love the Maybelline SuperStay Foundation!
Here's a list of things I love about it:

• SPF 15
• Oil Free
• Has Actyl-C (a more durable form of Vitamin C)
• Long Lasting (stays on all day)
• Pump Dispenser
• Blends easily into my skin
• Build-able coverage
• Lightly scented
• Great formula & consistency

There were only 2 things I didn't like so much, but they both have easy solutions.

1) The complimentary shade I received "Nude Beige" has a bit of an "orangey" hue for my taste, but I easily fixed that by using a bronzer to achieve a more "brownish" tone. Since they have 12 shades available to choose from, I'm sure I'll find one that matches my skin even better!

2) I also noticed that when I took pictures using flash, my face looked "white-ish", but that also had an easy fix...I didn't use the flash when taking most of the pictures. 

And as far as having "Better Skin", I definitely felt my skin looked great & wasn't irritated after I removed the foundation each night. Also, didn't feel like it was "drowning" under the layers of foundation when I applied it. To summarize, this is going to be a foundation I definitely recommend if you like having a "matte" look which is my favorite!

TASTE TEST: Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane Tea

Last night I tried the Celestial Seasonings Tea in the flavor "Candy Cane Lane". It got a bit cold and I needed a little something to keep me warm so I figured it was the perfect moment to do a Taste Test! I even did a little video to share with you my first time trying it! Check it out below!

 The tea is decaf (no problem having it at any time of the day or night) green tea with peppermint and other botanicals.  When the hot water touched the tea, I could immediately smell the peppermint! I couldn't wait to take the first sip. I always add liquid creamer to my tea & it seems to cool it to the perfect temperature so I don't have to wait too long before I can drink it! Totally worth it though! I relaxed & sipped my tea which was the perfect ending to a wonderful day! The "Candy Cane Lane" green tea has my approval! I give it 5 stars!
