INFLUENSTER: L'Oreal Paris Revitalift VoxBox

I've been super excited from the moment I received the email letting me know that I had been selected to try the L'Oreal Paris Revitalift products from Influenster. And now that I've had the chance to start trying them out, I'm so glad I was chosen because they are pretty amazing. The "secret" ingredient they all contain is hyaluronic acid which is a substance normally produced by the body & it is what gives skin its volume and fullness. Since my skin is a little more "mature" than it used to be, I need all the help I can get adding volume & fullness!

This is what I received in my VoxBox:

• Eye Treatment: Reduce under-eye hollows and sunken shadows.

• Concentrated Serum: Intensive face serum to replenish skin's fullness.

• Day Cream: Replenish skin's fullness, smooth lines & fine wrinkles.

• Night Cream: Recover skin's fullness while sleeping, smooth fine lines & wrinkles.

You can probably tell by watching my unboxing video just how impressed I was with this entire line. The first night I tested them out, I applied the serums first to "treat" my under-eye and my entire face. I love that the eye serum also has caffeine to help reduce the puffiness. The applicators were easy to use and very unique. My skin soaked up the serums & I proceeded to apply the night cream. It had a great texture, soft & smooth, yet creamy. But when I actually laid down to sleep is when I started to notice just how moisturized my skin felt. I was very impressed by the feeling it gave my skin.  

The next morning my skin still felt soft, like velvet...or silk. It was time to try out the day cream. I followed the same routine & applied the serums first, then spent the entire day with a moisturized and smooth face! It was not greasy or oily. It felt amazing.

I've been using them all every day & feel like I'm pampering my skin every time it's time to apply them! I can't wait to see long-term benefits!

REVIEW: Rimmel Gentle Eye Makeup Remover & ScandalEyes Eyeliner

Today I've got a review of the two Rimmel London products I received from Influenster in my #FrostyVoxBox (check out my previous post to see what other goodies I got)!

It really works!

I'll start with the Rimmel Gentle Eye Makeup Remover because it was the first one I tried out. It is completely different from the product I currently use to remove eye makeup so I was really happy to find that it worked so well. It actually just felt like I was using water (no oily feeling or residue), but unlike water, it removed my makeup! It did not sting or make my eyes feel irritated and it worked even on my 24-hour wear eye shadow pencil. I am really satisfied with the results!

Moving on to the Rimmel ScandalEyes Kohl Kajal eyeliner in "Black"... all I can say is WOW! Such a smooth application and so pigmented! It glides right on and is soooo black! I give it 5 stars! The fact that it is also waterproof is just an extra! Another plus is that it comes in 10 shades so you have lots to choose from! I will note that when I tried to remove this eye liner using the Gentle Eye Makeup Remover, I found it wasn't as easy so I really had to "soak" the cotton pad in order to make it work.

Today I am thankful for...

INFLUENSTER!

I know I talk about how awesome being an "Influenster" is all the time, but today I wanted to share with you a few videos so you can see for yourself just how amazing it is! I joined Influenster back in March of 2012 and have been loving it ever since! The program is great and the best thing is that it's absolutely 100% FREE! You can join and take surveys to qualify for different types of "voxboxes". A voxbox is basically a pretty box which is mailed to you (once you qualify & are chosen to receive one) filled with products to test out and give your opinion on. They vary depending on your answers to different surveys.

For example, if you have a dog and you "unlock" the dog owner badge by answering a survey, you will most likely qualify for a voxbox that has a product for dog owners. It is also important to keep your profile updated and your account linked with all your social media so you have a better chance of staying in the loop when they announce new programs and opportunities.

Speaking of which, I recently saw a facebook post by Influenster regarding a VoxBox Video Contest they were having and I, of course, immediately submitted my video entry (see below).

It was a fun extra activity that you weren't required to do, but I decided to participate and guess what? My video was chosen as one of the lucky winners! I was so excited and thankful! My friends, family and other Influensters voted for my entry! I just recently received my prize - a MEGA VOXBOX filled with great products and wanted to share that with you also (see below)!

Keep in mind that all those products were absolutely FREE!

What's in my Suave Family Kit?

By now you guys must know how much I love Influenster, right?
Well, let me tell you that I am really excited to share with you the latest VoxBox I received:

SUAVE FAMILY KIT

Not everyone who qualified for this one, received the same products in their VoxBox, so it's very exciting to see what products other "influensters" got in theirs.

My box included a product for me, one for my husband, and one for my little one!

I already posted my UNBOXING VIDEO and it even includes my husband trying out the Suave Professionals Styling Paste he received (picture below)! Check it out!

 The product that was sent for my use was the Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion "Dry Shampoo". It smells delicious! I tested a small amount, and I really liked it, and I will definitely give you guys an update when I have used it a little bit more!

The bottle/can I received is 5 oz. and says that it is for "All Hair Types".

Also, wanted to point out that all 3 products are available at Walmart for the best value!

                     

The last product in my VoxBox was the Suave Kids Styling Gel. It is the 7 oz. bottle and it's in the scent "Cool Ocean Blast". My 9 year old loves it. It holds his hair in place and has a refreshing scent. At the end of a long day, we did notice that he had some white flakes in his hair, which is the only negative thing.  One other good thing I wanted to mention about the gel is that it's "Alcohol Free" and that makes all the difference in the world because it doesn't "dry up" the hair.

Well, I will continue to try out these products and keep you guys updated!

Summer vs. Winter - Goody Ouchless Ribbon Elastics

What is the biggest difference between winter & summer? 

(Besides the obvious: cold & hot)

Well, I'll tell you... it's my hair!

During the winter it is soft and under control, but when summertime arrives, my hair turns against me and I don't recognize it anymore. Not to worry though because during the summer my hair is usually picked up in a bun which isn't that bad. But this summer is going to be a bit different because inside my Influenster Sunkissed VoxBox I received the Goody Ouchless Ribbon Elastics (complimentary for testing purposes) in 5 beautifully assorted colors. 

They are made of a silky-stretchy material ribbon which holds my hair surprisingly well. (I have a lot of thick long hair).
