NINE STARS DZT-50-9 Automatic Touchless Infrared Motion Sensor Trash Can

A few years ago, when we bought our first home, we decided it was time to invest in a nicer looking trash bin. It's not something you really think about until you don't have a place to hide it and you realize what an eyesore it can be. After doing some research, we finally decided to go with the NINE STARS DZT-50-9 Automatic Touchless Infrared Motion Sensor Trash Can.

One of the things I loved was that it was a Stainless Steel Base and it has a nice sleek oval shape. It was also surprisingly spacious and holds 13 gallons, which is a plus! And that overhang of the trash bag is completely hidden inside so it looks neat!

Today, it's been a little over 4 years since we made that investment, and I'm so happy we did. It's one of those purchases that I don't regret even though at the time, I did think it was so much money to pay for just a trash bin. But what I didn't realize was that this is no ordinary bin!

One last thing I wanted to mention was how long the battery has lasted. We've only changed it once in the 4 years we've had it, and that bin gets daily use.

So, this is one product I definitely recommend!

INFLUENSTER Clairol Professional Liquicolor

As you may have noticed, even though I don't feel particularly old, I've been dealing with pesky grays for quite some time now. So I'm always open to trying out hair color that claims to cover grays. I had the chance to try out a complimentary one (sent to me by Influenster) from Clairol Professional called Liquicolor and I don't want to spoil the surprise, but IT WORKS!

I have had good experience with other products as far as the coverage, but once I start to wash my hair the color washes off and the grays start to show. With this Clairol Professional Liquicolor, though, I have been amazed by it's staying power. I don't wash my hair every day, but like I mentioned, color usually washes out after a few times and as the color fades, the grays start looking funny shades of brown & orange. But I can definitely say I've seen a huge difference with the Clairol Professional Liquicolor.

I received the Shade 3N/83N Medium Neutral Brown. Application was easy, just mix into the convenient dispenser bottle and apply to hair. I will admit that the odor was very strong and I recommend doing this in a well ventilated area.

The color also looked a lot darker once it was on my hair than I expected, but to be honest, I don't really mind because my main concern is keeping those grays away! I also enjoyed using the iThrive Shampoo, Conditioner and Keratin Repair which smell amazing and left my hair soft.

I was extremely happy with my results and I definitely recommend this one.

Miracle Fruit - PlantOGram

Have you heard of Miracle Fruit, Miracle berry or maybe Miracle Fruit Trees? If you have, then lucky you because it's pretty awesome!

But if you're like me and you have no idea what it is let me share some exciting discoveries I've recently made! Thanks to my friends at PlantOGram.com I had the chance to try out this amazing fruit! I'm so excited to share my experience with you guys, it truly has been...AMAZING!

First of all, I'll start by sharing that PlantOGram.com has many exotic & tropical fruit trees which you can order online and have shipped to yourself or as a special gift for someone else. And when I say "SPECIAL" gift, I really mean "SPECIAL". The tree arrives at your door in a tall, narrow, bright-green box. On the outside there's a card that says "A Gift For You" & a pamphlet with instructions on how to care for your plant. When you take the tree out of the box it has a burlap wrapped base with a large colorful bow (mine was bright pink & gorgeous).

Now moving on to the actual tree I received which is the "Miracle Fruit Tree". It arrived with fruit already on it! Some were bright red & ready to pick, while others were still green and will ripen soon! There are also lots of flowers where new fruit will be coming in so you definitely get a lot to choose from! 

Since we had never heard of this tree, my son and I read the information provided & we learned that these fruit have an enzyme that coat your tongue preventing you from tasting anything sour. We were intrigued! The only thing we had on hand to test it out was a green lime which we prepared for our live taste test! Of course, we recorded a video of our first impressions for your enjoyment! 

OMG! This is one of the most amazing things we've ever experienced. How is it that I'm almost 40 years old and I'd never even heard of this Miracle Fruit?! Well, you learn something new every day, right? My son sure did, and he was so happy when he realized we have our very own tree that we can enjoy for years to come! That is another wonderful thing about this gift, it keeps on giving! 

We also squeezed some lime into a cup of water & drank it after tasting the Miracle Fruit & it was the perfect lemonade with NO ADDED SUGAR! We've got a growing list of sour foods we want to try next: strawberries, grapefruit, etc. There are so many possibilities!

BzzAgent: BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils

We're back with another exciting campaign from BzzAgent! With back to school just around the corner, these BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils have arrived at a perfect time. They are colorful and cute with 5 different colors to choose from: purple, pink, blue, yellow & orange! My favorite is the purple, of course. I also love that they come with lead & eraser refills!

They write smooth & really dark without having to press down on the pencil. The lead is strong and didn't break easily when I pressed down to test it out. The eraser is smooth and doesn't smudge, but I did notice on the writing where I pressed down too hard on the lead, you could still see a bit of the writing after I erased it. It definitely worked better on the writing where I didn't press down really hard on the lead. The good thing is, you don't actually have to press down hard at all, so it works really well!

My son was also very surprised by how smooth & comfortable they are to use!

303 Automotive Protectant = Car Wash Day!

We're trying out a new (to us) brand! We received the 303 Automotive Protectant spray thanks to Smiley360! 

If you wash your car instead of taking it to a car wash, this is definitely a product you're gonna love. Besides the packaging looking neat and having a nice design, the actual nozzle sprayer works great. It's easy to spray the product directly where you want to use it & you don't really need to use a lot. The scent is also not too overpowering. I also love that you can use it on the inside vinyl and on the outside to give your tires a nice clean, smooth look. Also, love that it doesn't feel sticky so it does dry matte, but it looks smooth, not greasy. The only downside I found was that you have to wipe it dry with a separate cloth, but it looks great when you're done. One of the most important things is that is provides UV protection and this is especially important to help prevent cracking and fading. Since my car's interior is black, this is definitely something I want to avoid at all cost! Loved this product and I'm glad for the chance to test it out on my car.

REVIEW: Cutex Nail Polish Remover Pads

I'm starting off with the first product I used from my Influenster Bloom VoxBox! These individually wrapped nail polish remover pads from the brand Cutex are a-m-a-Z-Z-Z-ing! I love wearing nail polish and I am constantly swatching different polishes for my Instagram account so I go through nail polish remover like crazy! I like to use pure acetone because I don't have the patience to rub my nails for a long period of time or to have to continue applying more remover to get the job done.

When I first opened these up, I kept trying to unfold the pad thinking it would be a bigger sheet, but it turns out, it's a small, thick felt-like pad that isn't big at all! It is really saturated with the remover and it has a strong acetone & lemony scent which I enjoyed. Just from holding the pad, it started to remove my polish so I was already impressed.

I swiped my nails and used the same pad to clean off several layers of different types of nail polishes from my 10 finger nails and it actually worked! The nail polish came off and my nails & cuticles didn't look dry, they were actually moisturized.

I love how convenient they are, too! Great to take them with you on the go and have a fresh mani, wherever you are! Check out my demo and see for yourself!

REVIEW: SoapBox Coconut Shampoo & Conditioner

You may recall from my unboxing of the Influenster Spice VoxBox I received, that they included a full size bottle of shampoo & conditioner. It is from a brand I had never heard of, "SoapBox" so I was curious to check them out. I learned that they are not your typical brand & here's why...they are doing amazing things to help others in need. First of all, they are a buy 1, give 1 company which means:

"For every product sold, a bar of soap
or a month of clean water is given to
a person in need."

It is easy to see where the purchase you make will make an impact, by going to their site & entering the unique "Hope Code" found on the products you purchase. I entered both of mine and they are being used for the Clean Water projects in Thailand & Cambodia! Pretty neat, right? Another great thing about this company is that they are cruelty-free. Also worth mentioning is that the shampoo & conditioner are sulfate-free, paraben- free & color safe!

The weather is changing and it means fall is here and cooler weather (which I love), but it also means flu season is making it's way, too. There are tiny, runny noses that need a soft tissue and I'm so happy to have the chance to try out these Kleenex Pocket Packs from CrowdTap! The packs are the perfect size to fit into your pocket, small purse, backpack, makeup bag, etc. You'll never have to worry about a runny nose because you can have these wherever you go!
