Garnier Whole Blends

I have another great review to share with you! It was a complimentary Crowdtap box with sample packets of the new Garnier Whole Blends Shampoo & Conditioner line. I was able to try 3 blends and I must say, it is very difficult to just choose one because I loved them all!

My hair smells so wonderful and feels clean, soft, and smooth! I got the chance to experience:

• Honey Treasures - Repairing
• Coconut Oil & Cocoa Butter - Smoothing
• Coconut Water & Vanilla Milk - Hydrating

There are 3 more blends in the line which I haven't tried yet, but I'm excited to see if they are as amazing as the ones I already used! One of the things I love the most is that the scents are really nice, but not too over-powering. So they left a nice light scent! And if all that wasn't enough, they are also paraben-free & gentle enough to use every day. I personally wash my hair every 3-4 days because I have a very dry scalp. So, before I go, let me know if you've tried any of these. And if you have, did you love it, too? If you haven't tried it yet, which one would you like to try first?

Covergirl + Olay = Great Idea

You've heard of Covergirl, right? What about Olay?

Now have you heard of them combined together in the same product? Hmmm....interesting, right?

Well, I hadn't heard about it until I received this complimentary BzzAgent Campaign box! It has the Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Wrinkle Defy Foundation for me to test out & review! So of course, that is exactly what I have been doing. As soon as I opened the box, I wanted to see what this was all about. The shade is Buff Beige.

Here is my quick unboxing & review video:

PROS:

• Loved the texture. It's creamy and applies so smoothly almost creating a layer over my skin.

•  Great coverage & definitely build-able (apply more as needed)

• They have different shades to choose from. (The shade I got does seem to be too light for my skin tone). 

• It has a light feel, so I don't feel it looks "cakey".
• Pretty packaging.

CONS:
• Sponge has a strange scent, but thankfully it doesn't get on my skin & I can always use another applicator.

• I get the white (kind of ghostly) hue when I take a picture using the flash, but as you can see from the picture below, it looks great without the flash.

Proud Parent Moments

During my years as a parent I've had so many special moments with my kids. I have been truly blessed being their mother. Today I had another one of those extra special moments where you don't really have words to describe what you are feeling... 

My youngest has demonstrated great interest in playing the saxophone (just like his father) & joined the band in school. After playing for about 6 months, he was given the opportunity to perform a solo before a judge to get rated. This was one of those nerve wracking moments where you are trying to act calm for your child's sake, but inside you feel like you have a million butterflies in your stomach & your heart is racing 100 miles a minute, but it was totally worth it!

Listening to the judge critique his playing made me feel so thankful for the blessing my son has been given. And just in case you were wondering... yes, I did cry a little. We are so proud of him & we continue to pray so he may receive many more blessings & always use them for good!
